Opioid overdoses and deaths are a national epidemic. For current information from the American Medical Association about this crisis, click here.
Thanks to the St. Louis National Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse (NCADA), doses of Narcan are available to Episcopal Churches throughout the Diocese of Missouri.
All clergy and elected leadership are urged to take the training, so that an opioid overdose can be recognized and Narcan safely administered. On-line training is available through the University of Missouri - St. Louis by clicking here or from the American Red Cross by clicking here to register
Once the training has been completed, click here for whom to contact to obtain doses of Narcan.
